The School of Music is one of 10 priority areas for development in the University of Kentucky strategic plan conducted by Ayers/Saint/Gross. The school contacted Ayers/Saint/Gross to develop the conceptual design of a building that will provide a more comfortable, aesthetic environment for approximately 600 primary users, including music majors, the faculty, and staff. It also will enhance the arts profile on campus and make a significant cultural contribution to the University and community.
