Phase II Academic Building
James Madison University, Harrisonburg, VA

On this project, James Madison designed a completely new application of technology to teaching. The team created the “elegant warehouse” concept, where almost any technology developed over the next four decades can be put into place to satisfy curriculum needs.

Aside from building a 21st century facility, the University wanted to attract more students to the 107-acre College of Integrated Science and Technology, with emphasis on the engineering sciences. ASG was the design architect, and with the architect-of-record provided architectural and engineering design services.

ASG was design architect in association with Jacobs Facilities.
