University of Maryland, Queenstown
The Wye Center, on more than 1,200 acres on Maryland's Eastern Shore, conducts agricultural research and provides information on water quality, plants and soils, and livestock. ASG designed its headquarters on the grounds of a farm owned by the University. It is reminiscent of Maryland farm complexes and manor houses on the shore and represents an understanding of and respect for the environment.
The building houses laboratories, office space, and conference facilities.
