Emory University
Atlanta, GA

The purpose of this study is to determine how much adjacent land is available for expansion, whether or not this land will accommodate the University’s needs, how to relocate the Goizueta Business School Library within the complex, where the Manuscripts and Rare Books Library (MARBL) can be located and if an off-site storage facility is needed. Each of the three collections is experiencing overcrowding, and the University administration has requested that a 20-year master plan be prepared prior to taking any action. The library has experienced consistent growth over the past 20 years, and anticipates future growth in the Woodruff and MARBL collections. Ayers/Saint/Gross will provide an overall master plan, a study specific to the Goizueta School, a study specific to the MARBL collection and cost estimates.
