Arizona State University
Phoenix, Arizona

Completion: 2006

The Arizona State University Master Plan examines a new vision expressed by President Michael Crow for the four campuses in the growing Phoenix metropolitan area. Each campus has a specific theme and purpose that develop centers of culture and education. ASU at the Tempe will be refurbished while ASU at the West, Downtown Phoenix, and Polytechnic campuses will experience substantial enrollment and program growth to address growth in the Valley and needs across the state.

The Ayers/Saint/Gross Graphic Design Studio was challenged to create a master plan report for Arizona State University's four campuses. The concept behind the box set came from ASU President Michael Crow's idea of "One University in Many Places". four campuses under one umbrella, or in this case, four books in one box set.

The final report includes:

  • Black cloth-coverd slip case
  • Foil stamped cover
  • 4 perfect bound reports
  • 1 saddle stitched intro. report
