Tremont Plaza Hotel
Baltimore, MD

ASG’s design transformed a drab 37-story apartment tower into an all-suites business hotel and office building in the first phase of this project. A neo-classical façade of limestone and granite replaced the glass curtain wall, and a crescent indentation at the main level allows ease of movement along an otherwise narrow sidewalk and presents a welcoming entrance. An elegant marble, brass, and mahogany lobby is spatially connected to mezzanine meeting rooms through a double-height entry.

Phase II involved development of modernization plans, including new interiors and furnishings for 185 suites and replacement of all 800 windows.
