The George Washington University
Washington, D.C.

Square 43 is among the three housing complexes ASG has designed for The George Washington University. The overall goal is to provide quality housing that meets the University’s needs for flexibility, security, amenities, scale and cost. It also enhances the quality of student life.

This 10-story facility opened for the 2004-05 school year and provides on-campus housing for existing students and anticipated undergraduates as undergraduate enrollment increases.

The units are one- and two-bedroom suites with two students per bedroom. The suites have one full bathroom per two occupants and include a full kitchen. A study room is provided on each residential floor. Four branded concept venues are grouped on the ground floor around a public area. They provide food and provisions for residents and the University community.

Square 43 is across G Street from the recently completed Lerner Family Health & Wellness Center, also designed by ASG.
